Sometimes
when one person is missing, the whole world seems so big and empty. That's how
Pam and I feel without you. We have pictures and loving memories to cherish, but
no new happy moments to spend or to share with you. We always have
you in our hearts, but that sure isn't like having you here with us.
As
devastatingly painful as our loss is, compared to your loss it is small. You
never had a chance to live your hopes and dreams. Your time and your life ended
so violently. You had to die in pain, frightened and alone.
You
were always so full of life, so full of mischief and fun. Always so quick to
beam your beautiful face and smile to someone. And you always were ready to
reach out to try to help someone.
Now
my dearest daughter, you will join the other beautiful faces of your companions
on this quilt and go forward with a very strong message to all that you will be
meeting face-to- face. It is my hope that all who meet you, as the quilt
travels, will take the time to see each of your faces, and let your faces make a
difference in their lives. Everyone should become committed to "End
Violence and Murder" .Your faces need to be the only ones on the quilt.
There
should never be another face or person added. I send
you
out with all of my love to make that difference, face-to-face. With much love
always,
Your
Mom, Cathy Bower Your Sister, Pamela Bower
