The Wooten Center is proud to be involved in Chadwick's Community Service Program.

Chadwick's Community Service Program is rooted in the conviction that education transcends academic excellence and must also involve moral excellence.

Chadwick School's involvement with the Wooten Center was originated by Becky Noble, Volunteer Coordinator.

The program has two basic goals. First, the program tries to help others in need. To accomplish this goal, the program places students in many different contexts. Tthe program also addresses students' minds as well as their hearts. It is hoped that Chadwick students will grow up to become adults who will make a difference in our ever-changing society.

The second goal of the Community Service Program is to develop in students an analytic disposition to understanding the dynamics of our society.

Activities are scheduled in both the afternoon and after school. Although the program is completely voluntary,. in the past years, 100% of each senior class has participated in at least one community service project over the course of four years in the Upper School.
