Team Mentoring

The Al Wooten Team Mentoring Task Force

Teams are comprised of three adult mentors -- a teacher, a volunteer from the community, and a student from a local college or university -- and 10-15 students. The team approach increases the potential impact of each mentor three or four times over the traditional one-on-one mentoring approach. An activity based program designed by the Princeton Center for Leadership Training and the Amelior Foundation, the program focus is on Team Building, Leadership Development, and Community Service
